Scallywags mother and toddler group

On Wednesday 6th September Robert Key MP will be attending the Grand Opening Party to re-launch the Scallywags Mother and Toddler Group in their new premises in the Sea Scout Hut, St Mark's Avenue, Salisbury.

After nearly 20 years of caring for mothers and children in Salisbury, Scallywags has moved from their old home in St Marks Church Annexe to the Sea Scout Hut where they will continue to meet once a week. Ages range from new-born babies to those about to start school, and children take part in various activities and crafts, as well as singing nursery rhymes and action songs. The group also provides parents and carers with an opportunity to meet together for a chat.

Robert Key said, "I am delighted to officially re-open Scallywags Mother and Toddler Group in their new home. Mrs Clements and all her helpers are offering a wonderful service to our community and I am very happy to support them in what they are doing. The new location will be good for the children, good for their parents and carers and good for the Scout Hut - which will benefit from the extra income.

"Scallywags has my very best wishes for their continuing work in Salisbury."

Notes to Editors: Robert Key MP will be officially re-opening Scallywags Mother and Toddler Group at 1.00 pm on Wednesday 6th September at The Scout Hut, St Marks Avenue, Salisbury at the beginning of their first session in the new premises.
