MP Urges Schools Minister to Build on Success

The project to rebuild Broad Chalke Church of England Primary School has taken another step forward with the news that the Department for Education and Schools Voluntary Aided Capital Team have been talking to the Headteacher and to the Diocese of Salisbury to try and resolve the funding problems.

Salisbury MP Robert Key has written to Schools Minister Jacqui Smith urging her to support the Broad Chalke School rebuild project as a fine example of a successful rurual school explaning to meet the needs of the community and needing new school premises to fulfil its role.
