Parking at Salisbury Railway Station

I would be very grateful if you would brief me on the latest position of Network Rail with regard to an application from South West Trains and from Salisbury District Council for more car parking facilities at Salisbury Railway Station.

I understand that an application was submitted sometime ago – but that nothing has been heard from Network Rail.

This delay is causing very great inconvenience and is positively discouraging my constituents from using rail transport.

Please would you be so kind as to tell me what is going on?
